PrésentationIn 1992, a vessel full of illegal migrants travels from Haiti to the United States. A storm forces them to land in the bayous of New Orleans, among them a woman with a baby boy. He kidnaps and murders women and boys to bind a (loa) spirit named Madelaine. A Haitian child kidnapping network has extended its claws into New Orleans society in parochial and political spheres. They are active as human traffickers in what are called ''restavecs'' In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina is nearing. Time is running out to save the victims of the Bokor and to unravel the political corruption that plagues the New Orleans Justice system.
